The Illinois Fire Prevention Association and the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers are once again hosting their annual product show.

One of the largest exhibitions of products, services and related industrial components of the Fire Protection industry in the Chicagoland area. Admission to the show is Free.

Speakers
Session 1: Beam Smoke Detection, Optical Flame Detection, and Linear Heat Detection: Selection for Different Applications (Dean Rushin, FFE Specialist Fire Detection)
This session will cover beam smoke detection, optical flame detection, and linear heat detection (fixed and programmable temperature). Applicability will be discussed for different building types. Positioning and optimization will be discussed to prevent delayed detection times. Differences in technology and application use cases will be discussed for all three technology types, including use in elevator shaft and tunnel applications.
Session 2: AI and the Sprinkler Industry (Cecil Bilbo, Academy of Fire Sprinkler Technology)
A brief explanation of Artificial Intelligence and how it is being used in the Fire Sprinkler Industry. We will discuss the current state of the technology and some best practices for using the current tools.
Session 3: Eliminate Corrosion Risk with Nitrogen Generation for Specific Applications (Brian Kaplon, South-Tek Systems)
This course provides contractors, architects and design professionals with the technical understanding needed to specify nitrogen generation systems for dry fire sprinkler systems in specialized facilities. Facility-specific challenges in parking garages, data centers, and cold storage environments are addressed, along with sustainability benefits and regulatory compliance.
